An evening of comedy at Brandon Leisure Centre
The Theatre Royal at Bury St Edmunds is taking the arts to Brandon as part of their Rural Tour this autumn.
On Monday 13 September at 7.30pm, theatre-goers will be able to sit down to enjoy ‘The Two of Us’ by Michael Frayn at Brandon Leisure Centre. ‘The Two of Us’ is a collection of four short plays with just two very versatile actors: Simon Nock and Alys Torrance. The storylines take a look at the complexities of love and marriage in the modern world and are both funny and touching with a dazzling display of comic timing.
These four comic masterpieces were originally produced in the West End starring Richard Briers and Lynn Redgrave. ‘The Two of Us’ is directed by Abigail Anderson, responsible for previous hit touring productions ‘Three Men in a Boat’ and ‘Art’.
Tickets cost £10.50 / £9.00 and are available from Brandon Leisure Centre and the Theatre Royal Box Office on www.theatreroyal.org or call 01284 769505.
